High School– Weekend Ministry for Students 9-12th Grade

Every Sunday night we give our Middle School and High School students the opportunity to do three things: Have fun in God's house, make great friends and really connect with God. We do this through relevant worship, dramas, videos, crazy games and competitions, small group discussions, and messages that make sense.

During the year Vertical offers all kinds of other opportunities for students to have fun, connect with God, reach out to their friends and go deep in God, including: Bash the Pumpkin, Winter Retreat, Surge Summer Camp at the Beach, Outreach and Mission Trips, Amazing Race Events, Nerdy Prom, Carowinds, 412 ministry training and so much more!

Before and after Vertical our students enjoy great food, shoot pool, play basketball, hang out, or challenge their friends at Xbox 360, ultimate frisbee or fooseball. We have an amazing group of committed adult volunteers that help us create a warm, fun and exciting atmosphere. Not only do students develop their own relationship with Jesus, they get to develop relationships with students from other schools. This family atmosphere quickly enfolds each student that becomes a part of Vertical.

We are helping this generation see God is relevant, and they are not too young to be used by HIM! Our Students have many opportunities to use their gifts to serve God through Drama, singing, playing in the band, dance, video and outreaches in the community and with their peers. Vertical is a high-energy environment where students develop lifelong relationships with God and each other.
